1. Who we are
IronsIDE Collectible Innovations LLC ("IronsIDE," "we," "us," or "our") is a company registered in the State of Maine, United States. We build forensic identification and pricing technology for trading cards, including our application BooM!BoX CV (the "App").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the App and our website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the App and provide its features:
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely stored password. Authentication is handled through our infrastructure provider.
- Card images. When you scan a card, the App captures photographs of the card (front and back) and uploads them to our secure storage so they can be identified, priced, and saved to your vault.
- Card and collection data. Information generated from your scans — such as card identity, set, card number, parallel, serial number, estimated grade, condition, and market value — along with any details you add or edit, and the batch records of your scanning sessions.
- Usage and device information. Basic technical information necessary for the App to function, such as device type and operating system. We do not currently use third-party analytics or tracking tools.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Identify cards from the images you submit and return pricing and valuation results.
- Create and maintain your vault, portfolio, and batch records.
- Operate, secure, and improve the App and its features.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Send you account-related communications, such as password resets and important notices.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Service providers
To identify and price cards and to operate the App, we rely on trusted third-party services. When you use the App, relevant data — such as card images or card details — may be processed by:
- Cloud infrastructure & authentication. Our database, secure storage, and account authentication provider, which hosts your account, card images, and vault data.
- Card identification. A computer-vision service used to read and identify cards from the images you submit.
- Pricing data sources. Market-pricing services and sold-listing data sources used to estimate the value of your cards.
These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us, and are bound by obligations to protect it. Each provider maintains its own privacy practices.
6. Data retention
We retain your account information, card images, and vault data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete an item from your vault, or delete your account, we remove the associated data from our active systems, subject to reasonable backup cycles and any retention required by law.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. You can:
- Access and edit your account and card data directly within the App.
- Delete individual cards, batch records, or your entire account.
- Request a copy or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 12.
We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and secure, access-controlled storage for your account data and card images. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential.
9. Age requirement
BooM!BoX CV is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address in Section 12 so we can address it.
The App's valuations are informational only and do not constitute financial, investment, or appraisal advice.
10. Payments & subscriptions
The App may offer paid features or subscriptions. When paid features become available, payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor and/or through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers ourselves; that information is handled directly by the applicable payment processor under its own privacy and security practices. We may receive limited transaction information, such as subscription status, necessary to provide the service.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
